The Refill Station

1 Million Cups Springfield has had a lot of exciting news in 2016! The biggest news is our move to the Springfield Art Museum on April 6. Besides our move, February 24 was our 2nd anniversary. We started an Instagram page (1millioncupssgf) and now we have this Medium blog. We are calling our blog The Refill Station and this is how it started:

For the past two years, every Wednesday morning at 9am two local businesses would present in front of the community to discuss their successes and failures as well as answer the question, “What can we, as a community, do for you?” If the business has presented before, we call the presentation a “Refill.” Realizing that not many businesses will present a Refill, and the ever-growing entrepreneurial community in Springfield, 1 Million Cups Springfield decided to create a new way for more businesses to get a refill. In that effort, we’ve launched The Refill Station, a blog that will highlight past 1 Million Cups Springfield presenters, to keep the Springfield community engaged with the past presenters. Whether the business is on track to be the next Fortune 500 Company or struggling to keep the lights on, we want to know what events transpired after their presentation at 1 Million Cups Springfield. We want to know where the business is heading. We want to know what we, as a community, can do to help you.
