Bard and Yoda — A Poetic Mash-Up
Bard — “A poet, traditionally one reciting epics associated with a particular oral tradition: Our intergalactic OG space bard, Yoda.”
AI brings as many questions as it does answers, however, we believe it’s ultimately a tool to unlock more creative potential and productivity… if used wisely under human care. As an artistic experiment, we asked Google’s Bard what Yoda might say about artificial intelligence. After several different prompts, here’s their poetic mash-up…

- “A disturbance in the force, I sense. Hmmm.”
- “AI, future bright. Use for good, you should.”
- “Dark side, destruction. Avoid, you must.” 👀 😆
CREATIVE PROCESS NOTE
A final human tweak before publication: “Big data, powerful it is. Use it wisely.” changed to the shorter version, above— which just feels more like a wise Yoda saying, right?
IMAGE CREATION FOR THE ARTICLE
Continuing our recent experimentation with Img2Go, an AI Art Generator, we tried several times to create a silhouette of everyone’s favorite space bard but the test kept failing, miserably. (We just wanted a hint of those shell-like ears inside a colorful Google-like matrix — not Yoda!). Here’s one of the results—worth sharing(!), illustrating where AI art generation (beautifully) missed the mark…
So, we changed the prompt and went with the little robot as the article image. (Not sure where the colorful, knitted suit came from but it’s cool! 😆)
OVERALL
Pretty much every time we mash things up with an AI writing tool, we’ve found we still need to give it that — non-roboticy — human touch to get the results we desire. And the same goes for image creation, we find we still want to mix things up… sometimes small, sometimes BIG!
AI is a transformative technology — especially for content creation — however, artistic poetry ultimately depends on the human touch. So, rest assured, the machines are not taking over :) As technologies evolve and change our lives (as they always do) we will adapt and evolve accordingly.
Yoda might say, “Humans, powerful they are.”
