As a Jays fan, I’m glad the club hasn’t been trapped in with a Ryan Howard’esque deal with Jose. I love more of what he brings to their clubhouse & moxie which with this bunch might’ve been pretty rough without him. His 24 homers & 80 rbis expected this season is a very nice bonus.

As for EE, just too risky to set up a contender with his health & ageing. Sure he can knock it out & play first, yet I’ll not be shocked in the least to see him miss 20–40 games a year now.
