Cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) is a type of psychotherapeutic treatment that helps people learn how to identify and change destructive or disturbing thought patterns that have a negative influence on behavior and emotions.
Cognitive behavioral therapy focuses on changing the automatic negative thoughts that can contribute to and worsen emotional difficulties, depression, and anxiety. These spontaneous negative thoughts have a detrimental influence on mood.
Through CBT, these thoughts are identified, challenged, and replaced with more objective, realistic thoughts.

Group therapy is a form of Psychotherapy that involves one or more therapists working with several people at the same time. This tyoe of therapy is widely available at a variety of locations including private therapeutic practices, hospitals, mental health clinics, and community centers.
Group therapy is sometimes used alone, but it is also commonly integrated into a comprehensive treatment plan that also includes individual therapy.
--》 Psychoanalysis
It is a form of in-depth talk therapy that aims to bring unconscious or deeply buried thoughts and feelings to the conscious mind so that repressed experiences and emotions, often from childhood, can be brought to the surface and examined. Working together, the therapist and client look at how these repressed early memories have affected the client’s thinking, behavior, and relationships in adulthood.
--》 Psychodynamics
Psychodynamic theories are useful in social work assessments to explore a client’s past experiences, hypothesize about how such experiences are contributing to the presenting problem and how to address the problem.
--》 Humanistic Psychology
Humanistic therapy is a mental health approach that emphasizes the importance of being your true self in order to lead the most fulfilling life.
It’s based on the principle that everyone has their own unique way of looking at the world. This view can impact your choices and actions.
Humanistic therapy also involves a core belief that people are good at heart and capable of making the right choices for themselves. If you don’t hold yourself in high regard, it’s harder to develop your full potential.
