Piaget was the first psychologist who introduce that different child have different thinking that adults. He also suggest that child is wise as adults but it react differently.

Piaget says that the 1st two years of child is sensory motor stage. Infant learn through senses like by observing, smelling, feeling, touching things and perceive the world. This theory also says that infant appear reaction in quick way at this time of age. Seeing moving objects and develop her cognitions.

From birth to two year infant learn through by sucking and by grasping.

Two to four months his/her behaviour occurs in repitation like closing and opening the things.

Four to eight months child show interest in society…… For example if we throw a ball in upward direction in front of child than infant became very happy first and then he/she is more interest in surrounding.

In eight to twelve months infant want to take hidden activities later on, from 12 to eighteen months infant reasonably to develop any direct perception. Because in direct perception their is no need of higher cognitions.

These are the Piaget’s views on child cognitive development
