2040WORLD: In-game items
All items in the game can be divided into resources and goods.
Resources are mined in the game world, can be sold at auction, and are not related to any industry.
Goods are items manufactured at a production site. The production of goods may require resources along with other items. Different types of goods are produced by different industries.
Equipment is another category of goods. Equipment can be worn by your character, thus adding new features, changing your looks or boosting characteristics. Equipment has a durability index which gets lower each time your avatar dies. However, there are also items in the game that can’t be destroyed.
