2040WORLD: PvP vs PvE

The 2040WORLD station has two types of areas: safe (PVE) and dangerous (PVP).

Safe areas are PVP combat-free. There, you can explore the world, complete quests, kill NPCs and set up production. Any play&earn game has this ‘safe space’ where players can invest in the economy and progress.

Dangerous areas are areas where the PVP* mode turns on automatically. Other players can attack you there, but you can as well ambush your opponents. PvP makes the player experience more exciting and allows players to loot someone else’s items. Engage in battles with avatars. If you win, you can take their belongings.

*The Multiplayer and PvP modes will be added later.

Our top priority is to create the space of the 2040WORLD station and the economy which will help players make a profit.

PVP and zones of interest

In the dangerous areas, where battles between players are allowed, there are certain points of interest. For example, an area nearby a free pod for resource transportation or other items of value. Other avatars might be lurking in the shadows here to attack you if you’re not ready for a battle.

Battles

Anyone can take a chance and start a battle with another player. The player who loses drops loot from their inventory: mined resources, armor, weapons and other goods. The winner takes it all.

Remember that the 2040WORLD metaverse is also about strategic thinking. Players’ profits depend on their decisions and actions. Think about your moves in advance. Be smart about your actions.

PVE and quests from corporations

*Explore the station, complete quests and make money on it!*

Pods with licensed avatars have been sent to the 2040WORLD space station. Corporations are eager to explore the station so they offer quests to all players.

Free the station from dangerous creatures, find mining and construction sites, and set up production. Get rewards for completed tasks and increase your prestige level.

High prestige level opens new opportunities for further exploration of the station. You get access to rare quests, buying premium-level avatars, getting your construction license, and more.

The more players explore the world at the same time, the more each of them can earn. Compete with other players and make a profit on the time spent in 2040WORLD.
