The Three Best Ways to Improve Your Life
There are many things we do each day for the sake of making our day better. These things may not be vitally necessary to go through our day, but we do them anyway. Here I’ll list the top three things that you can do to improve your life each day. These things are in no specific order, because I think they are all very important.

#1: Always be Kind to Others
If there is one thing you should be doing, it’s being kind to others. You shouldn’t have friends. At least not in the way I’m talking about. It’s good to have people that can always be there for you, but you shouldn’t only be there for those people. Wherever you are or whatever you are doing, try to be kind and socialize with everyone.
Just talking with someone can make their day infinitely better, even if you never talk to them ever again. Suicide is a big issue in many countries including the United States. Just talking to someone can even save their life. However, this isn’t the only reason you should talk to others. People who aren’t suicidal might just need some light in their day or a boost of confidence. Humans are very social, and no one wants to be alone.
Now, how does this help you? Talking and being nice to others isn’t just rewarding for them, it’s very rewarding for you. This is why going up and talking to people in a group isn’t unnecessary. Even though those people already are around others, it will make you feel better, and it will make them feel more important. There is really no downside to this as long is you do it with good intent.

#2: Don’t Quit at Not Quitting
Most people these days seem to know that quitting at something that’s good for you is a bad thing. You may even get heat from others when you quit at something like a game you are in the middle of or something else they are involved in. However, we sometimes don’t realize when we are giving up at something.
We easily get distracted by the busy or mainstream parts of our lives. It’s important we don’t quit at something by forgetting it. For example, I’m no bodybuilder, but I try to exercise everyday so I can be healthy. The more I forget, the closer I get to quitting without even noticing it. Eventually it just seems like starting a new things if I think about exercising again. That’s why consistency is important.
Another way we quit things without realizing them is by moving on. After you graduate from high school, college, or whenever you decide that your days of school are done, you might feel like it’s time to move on from learning and studying. Of course this is true in many ways, but it’s important to try to retain some of that knowledge that will actually be important in your life. There are many parts of our life where this can be applied.

#3: Don’t Overthink Things
I think one of the main reason people in today’s world are so stressed and busy is because they overthink too many things. It’s good to be prepared, and I always try to be prepared, but there is a fine line between being prepared and overthinking something.
If you aren’t completely sure what overthinking something actually is, it’s when you think something is different or worse that it actually is because you are just thinking about it too much. Sometimes we just have to let things go. Overthinking something is usually caused by trying to be prepared for something that we can’t be prepared for. This makes us worried even when we shouldn’t be. And the bad thing is we usually can’t reverse our thoughts. There’s really no undo button for our brain.
I’m guilty of this myself, and I believe we all are to some extent. My advice is simply to decide when something shouldn’t or can’t be prepared for in advanced and then just don’t live in the future. Live in the present. And if you are thinking too much about something you can prepare for, just prepare for it. You’ll feel much better once you have put in effort to be ready for it!
Well, those are the things I think are most important to improve you life. Of course, there are many other things, and those things don’t really involve the “big picture”. These are focused around your day-to-day life. I’ll do some research and sometime in the future I’ll probably write an article more focused long-term. But until then, thanks for choosing your time wisely and reading from the Dylan Shakespear Collection.
