Great write on the flip side of the subject…that said WE ALL stereotype, label, badge an box people. We ‘generalise’, am no psychologist, so guessing that we do it to keep our view on the world structured/ordered…also helps communication with others simpler…tho if that’s true then ‘stereotypes’ must have some elements of truth within them, otherwise they just wouldn’t work.

Also going back to psychology, does that whole science take the view that ‘stereotypes’ exist. Labelling people, to further understand behavioural patterns? Ok it’s on another level but is still a form of collective generalisation…or stereotyping?

In the end the only things that can really hurt you, is those you give permission to.
