Scottsdale police rushed Jordan, 32, to hospital with a head injury, where he allegedly assaulted a worker.

Jeffrey Jordan, the son of a Chicago Bulls legend Michael Jordan, faces assault charges after he attacked a health worker at Scottsdale Hospital, Ariz on Friday. Prior to the alleged attack, Scottsdale police rushed Jordan to hospital with a head injury.

According to FOX 10 Phoenix, Scottsdale police said Jordan slipped and hit his head on a table in Casa Amigos, a cocktail restaurant and a Mexican restaurant. Police have described the Jordan Casa Amigos incident as “naturally healthy” and do not anticipate future cases after negotiating security at the restaurant.

The problem allegedly began when Jordan was admitted to hospital. He reportedly attacked a health care worker and was formally charged with one count of abusing a health care professional, the third such incident in Arizona.

Scottsdale police are yet to release more details about Jordan’s case.
Jordan didn’t live up to his father’s high basketball standards — six NBA championships, five MVPs, 11 All-NBA nominations, and a Defender Player of the Year award — but he did a five-year career honored at the college level. The 32-year-old played for Illinois from 2007–10, helping Illini finish second in the Big Ten in 2008–09. He also played two seasons for Donnie Jones at UCF.

The oldest of Michael Jordan’s five children, Jeffrey Jordan successfully transformed his life after the game. He is currently the head of Jordan Brand’s new technology department and co-founded the Chicago-based consultant firm Jordan Avakian Group in 2020.
