Harnaaz Sandhu has brought the Miss Universe Crown back after 21 years after Lara Dutta and Sushmita Sen. Being a representative from the country itself is great achievement and we are Proud of her .
ABOUT
Harnaaz is 21 years as of now and was born on 3rd March 2000 in Chandigarh our one of the union territories and has done her Schooling from Shivalik Public School Chandigarh and Bachelor’s in Information Technology from Chandigarh itself . She believes that we should not compare ourselves with others we are unique in ourselves and that’s what makes us beautiful. Her Strong determination lead her to such a colossal win for herself and for the country.
FAMILY
Harnaaz belongs to middle class family and her mother Dr. Rabinder Kaur Sandhu and Father Pritampal Singh Sandhu has always encouraged her to persue her dreams and have stood by her in her achievements like the pillar of strength. She is named Harnaaz as she is the first and last daughter in her extended Jat Sikh Family among the 17 brothers. Her mother stated — She has made the country proud.
CAREER
In 2019 , Harnaaz participated in Miss Femina Punjab 2019 paegent and won the title.
In 2020 , She stood up as 3rd runner up of Miss Universe 2020.
She took parts in paegents since she was 17 and has won titles of Miss Chandigarh 2017 and Miss Emerging Star 2018. She also participated in Femina Miss India where she stood up in Top 12 contestants.
She loved modelling and also did her first debut from the Movie Yaaraan Diyan Poo Baran which was not much successful but she came back with another Movie Bai Ji Kuttange which was a hit and her experience with acting has been trounce she stated but she believed in herself and never stopped.
AWARDS
Crowned as Miss Universe 2021 in the 70th Edition Miss Universe paegent held at Eilat , Israel. Andrea Meza of Mexico who has been the Miss Universe 2020 crowned Harnaaz Sandhu as her predecessor for the 70th Edition Miss Universe 2021.
She said that we should believe in ourselves and instead of comparing ourselves we should focus on our goals because we all are beautiful in our own way and the determination and the dedication are the factors which brought her here. She Never stopped believing herself. It’s discernible from her achievements that she never stopped chasing what she wanted.
Strong determination and will is a key to the success ladder. Struggle of every
achiever has a story of their own , and their own ebb and flow which defines the
variation in life an individual can undergo. Harnaaz is one of those who
communicated with the ideology of self belief and consistency towards her
journey. Every journey is beautiful in it’s own way and comes up with practicality and significance.
