This is clearly debating in bad faith, but I don’t like when someone questions obvious truth, so here are your sources (it’s in French as you might expect, perhaps you want me to translate ?):
- official results for the presidential election (government) : https://www.interieur.gouv.fr/Elections/Les-resultats/Presidentielles/elecresult__presidentielle-2017/(path)/presidentielle-2017/FE.html
- lastest poll about voting intentions for Marine Le Pen : https://www.lopinion.fr/blog/a-front-renverse/sondage-marine-pen-se-frotte-mains-147704
Point is whatever measure you take (voting intentions, desire to see her run for the next presidential campaign and so on), Marine Le Pen has from 20 to 30% of the French population supporting her / her ideas. We have two choices : either we include her in the democratic debate and we defeat her, or we exclude her from the debate and we radicalize her and her supporters even more. History has shown the latter option is never the right one.
Enjoy the weekend
