Unrelated, but GNN makes me pine for the days of the (non-compromised) Guerrilla News Network, back when the whole KillerCoke thing was in full swing and seemed possible to leave a good large dent in them.

The new iteration and whomever runs it seem to lack Marshall’s goget’emness, largely being responses to things happening elsewhere and quite milquetoast in comparison to its golden days. It’s also quite slow to get anything put up. There’s no longer investigative anything over there, it seems more like a fan-project made by a passive reader of the original publication.

Also it’s incredibly funny to me Litvin mentions Alternet when they went all-in on Clinton alongside the Kosnian militias. Does he even read the magazine he contributes to anymore? Counterpunch absolutely loathes Clinton. AlterNet’s lesser-evilism was a dealbreaker for practically everyone I ever knew. I wonder what Bricmont thinks of his ‘analysis’ of your piece.

Moreever he seems to think it’s ONLY the two major parties that need to be dealt with. Dozens of smaller fiefdoms like the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association would have every reason to turn all they could against greens.

And if you are making no alliances amongst the right, then how would you reach through the NCBubble to those within?

If you get around the two parties, you still need to deal with those who profit by funding these parties.

On a personal note, I don’t think Cernovich is the one to engage with either. He’s not only an extremely small fish, he’s not inserted into any industries you need to make inroads into. What’s he do? He’s a lawyer that runs a juice bar. I think you can find dozens you could hit from neoliberal or true liberal both who would roll with those crowds. No, what you need are inroads into big agriculture and big oil. Finding an oilman or Texan rancher that hates Bushton Inc. and interventionism both, that’d be a great start. Tobacco is dying out among youngsters, but still a strong industry at the moment.

Any of those sorts would also be a good foot-in-the-door with Evangelicals.

Besides which Cernovich’s boss already worked with Jezebel of all places once before (on the Steubenville case) and received praise from them a couple other times (like nabbing a revenge porn webring owner which he then seems to have made a hobby of his) and he later went pure verbal fisticuffs with Roosh-lite clone Julien Blanc. So there’s slightly more to work with there if you’re still wanting to reach out to the lawyering side. Yes, he doesn't have as big a ‘social media imprint’ but you've got a larger web to expand into from there in all walks of life, while a majority of Cernovich’s followers already tread similar paths and would no doubt come across future output one way or another. (and his cases are similarly bland)

One last comment that I almost forgot about, actually the nationalists and neocons are at war with each other. And the ANTIFA are on the neocons’ side because the neocons sided with Clinton. This place just gets more topsy-turvy every week. Also don’t forget all the Bush Apologism the so-called left has been engaging in furiously just because he said mean words about someone they hate. (Blair has been receiving similar treatment since before due to opposing the Brexit campaign) The softheaded fools buying into this goodcop/badcop routine by the media are a complete embarrassment to all rationally thinking peoples on either side.
