Find the Nocturnal Animals

What you need:

– Our nocturnal animals printable

– Colorful markers

– A transparent file

– A black sheet

– A plain white sheet

– Colors

Steps:

1. Place the printable inside the transparent file.

2. Use a black marker to outline the forest scene given in the printable.

3. Color the forest scene using appropriate colorful markers.

4. Place a black sheet behind the transparent file as a backdrop to the forest scene.

5. Cut out a flashlight from a plain white sheet and color it. Leave the beam of light uncolored.

Place the flashlight between the transparent file and the black sheet. You will observe that the beam of light makes the animals visible even in a dark backdrop! This demonstrates just how important is a nocturnal animal’s heightened sense of sight.
