Typically, I apply a dollar-cost average approach to my journaling. I’ll journal, then write each morning from 7 a.m. to 8 a.m. The benefit of it is two fold. My brain operates most creatively during the early mornings, and my productivity averages out. Some days my creativity is fantastic, other times it’s terrible.
The problem with this habit is that regardless of how creative I’m feeling at night, I end up pushing it till the morning.
However, hearing how Kendra Wright writes at night, I’m inspired to start journaling at night as well. Hopefully this will assist with my existing morning habit.
