Slammed with an Adobe Stock early cancellation fee on a “risk free” trial?

Just successfully cancelled the silently-started annual membership after talking to three different customer service agents, who even lied to me that “you can’t cancel your membership if you started the free month offer”, and switched to “you can cancel it any time” when confronted with the original sentences from the terms. They lied to me that I can’t access their subscription terms webpage because my browser had an issue, but the site was obviously down on their side. Only agreed to cancel it after I threatened that I would talk my friends out of their membership too. That was easily the most unbelievable service I’ve ever seen. Thanks for your helpful post!
