Welcome to the land where desert dunes meet futuristic skylines, where ancient traditions blend seamlessly with modern marvels — welcome to Qatar!

From stunning sand dunes to glittering cityscapes, Qatar is a kaleidoscope of wonders just waiting to be explored. So, grab your sense of adventure, and let’s dive into the heart of this captivating country!

For this blog, instead of informing our community, we turned to the people themselves and asked the r/Qatar subreddit on Reddit:

“What is the most beautiful place in Qatar that you have visited?”

We also reached out to our Qatar Country Director, Denise Castellvi, and she said,

“The most beautiful place in Qatar? It would be difficult to pick one, most of the time in the City you can find me in Mshereib and Souq Waqif.

For me, the beauty of Mshereib is the atmosphere, walking and sitting there in one of the coffee shops, it feels like life is slow there which I like.

It’s quiet as most of the time there are not a lot of people there unless it’s the weekend. The restaurants are a bit pricy but for me, it’s okay to spend a bit more from time to time.

Also, the rain here in Qatar is rare but if it’s raining, Mshereib is one of the most beautiful places to enjoy the rain.

Souq Waqif, well, I think it’s everyones favorite, you will see the rich culture there, history diversion and a lot of nice restaurants (cheap) to eat at.

I like sitting there, having a hot kunafe and karak. Just people watching, kids playing and tourists wandering.

I have been living in Qatar for 6 years now, and because of my job, I am lucky to have a chance to go to the desert most of the time.

I am not into camels, but I have ridden them I think once only. I like the Qatar desert so much, the landscape is beautiful, especially when you are on the top of the dunes, and the sunset is really nice if you are lucky with the weather.

And the inland sea is breathtaking, the color of its water especially when there is still light is nice to keep on looking at it.”

There you have it, from the leading lady herself! For someone living in Qatar for the past 6 years and still finding the beauty breathtaking to this day, is proof that it is one of the most beautiful countries in the world.

We are so delighted to share the heartwarming and insightful responses of the Qatar community,
