Körnerpark, Berlin

In the middle of Neukölln can be found this oasis, that resembles a palace garden and revives a baroque atmosphere. Built from 1912 to 1916 Körnerpark offers a relaxing scenery with flower beds, fountains and a gallery. The gallery, a former orangery, holds exhibitions of contemporary art as well as historic expositions and offers a relaxing break at the gallery café.

Central Park Conservatory Garden, NYC

In this part of the central park one can find three international types of gardening. The six-acre formal garden holds three different smaller gardens, presenting the Italian, French and English way of gardening. Conservatory Garden is said to be the most elegant part of Central Park, due to its design of ‘The age of innocence’, dominion of the East Coast upper class in 19th century.

Montmartre, Paris

In Montmartre it is easy to wander through the streets and let Paris surprise you with its french-chic atmosphere. Street musicians, small cafés and of course the Basilica of Sacré Coeur let you immediately fall in love with the 18th arrondisment. It also holds some surprises ready, like a small vineyard right between the houses.

Parc del Laberint d’Horta, Barcelona

Not only is Parc del Laberint d’Horta the oldest garden greenery in Barcelona, but also an impressive maze. Not far away from the busy city centre of Barcelona it lays at the hillside of Serra de Collserola. Prove yourself in the situation of a competitive maze while the spanish sun warms you and the scenery spoils you with its beautiful view or try some hiking.
