Week 9: (Cam) Newton’s Law: Rushing QBs > Pocket QBs

With half of the 2015 NFL season complete, 3 teams currently remain perfect: the New England Patriots, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Carolina Panthers. An undefeated Patriots team is no surprise. You can always count on Belichick to find new “ways” to win. A Panthers win against the Packers, on the other hand, was definitely a little shocking. To be fair, Rodgers should have won that game. Not only did he throw for 369 yards and 4 touchdowns, the Green Bay defense stepped up and intercepted Newton in the 4th quarter with 3:38 left to play. Unfortunately, the Packers just couldn’t hold down Newton and the Panthers as they continue onto their best season in franchise history.

Week 10: Spoilers ahead

Despite Bill Belichick’s ability to find new “ways” to win, this could be the third time the Giants ruin a Patriots’ perfect season. Historically, the Big Blue Wrecking Crew has ruined Sundays for the Evil Empire, having held Tom Brady from throwing more than 20 yards down field in their last 3 match-ups and sacking him almost 2 times more than any other team has in the ‘game-that-can’t-be-named’.
