In recent years, the problem of ecological challenges has grown increasingly more acute. Global tech advancements, an increasing population dynamics and the irresponsible exploitation of the Earth’s resources have culminated in an ecological disaster demanding prompt action at all levels: within both local communities and on species diversity.
For example, according to the 2022 National Footprint and Biocapacity Accounts, mankind utilizes the equivalent of 1.75 Earths in using resources and absorbing trash. This means it would require one year and eight months to replenish everything humans consume in a year.
As a result, almost one-third of freshwater biodiversity face extinction, largely due to habitat loss, introduction of alien species, pollution, and over-harvesting. Higher concentrations of greenhouse gasses trap more heat in the biosphere and result in global warming. And it’s only a few facets of human impact on ecosystems and environmental conditions.
There is thus a major dilemma wherein citizens are unaware of the scope and gravity of this issue.
Yes, ecological problems have recently garnered wider media coverage, but many related stories are still not covered. With the help of blockchain, we created 3WM to fight against environmental change.
Proof of 3WM EcoAction
Our ecological community program that rewards eco-friendly contributions — Proof of 3WM EcoAction — will revolutionize how people can protect biological diversity and proactively shape policies and actions to prevent harm.
Specifically, the Proof of 3WM EcoAction (PoEA) incentive mechanism fosters widespread adoption by creating an established community that contributes to and supports the initiative of ecological and environmental protection.
It allows global citizens to protect or enhance natural-resources while building community capacity to sustain these activities in the future by rewarding related contributions.
This creates a fair and accessible ecosystem, enabling the ability to reward each contributor who plays a key role in sparking ecological action. This includes:
+ Clients, 3WM product users or those who participate in the bounty 3WM EcoAction program launched through the platform
+ Providers offering 3WM ecological-certified products or participating in the bounty 3WM EcoAction program
+ Organizations supporting 3WM projects on a daily basis or contributing to the 3WM Innovation program for developmental ecological project
The PoEA program is dedicated to promoting ecological programs within the recipient community. This includes communicating program information to potential applicants and providing advice, support and feedback with respect to program development.
