Although they are so distinctly separated, a business needs both. Take for example websites for small and mid-size businesses. They need both blogs (storytelling) and landing pages (lead generation). So, my take on this is that a good writer needs to know when he has to be a copywriter, and when he needs to be a content writer. But they are not 2 distinctive persons.
