The term science has developed a very broad definition. Since BC and AD there were terms that mimicked science, even science fiction played more true-to-life, for the ideas that were considered far fetched… likes Spock’s communicator became 1990’s cell phone. The allure of science is actually imagination built into meaning something.

Science is intellectual and practical activity encompassing the study of the structure and behavior of the physical and natural world through observation and experiment.

But that’s not necessarily how its represented to us. In fact, if anything scientifically was done to experiment then we would have moved a long time ago from doing somersault and eating water bubbles in space, don’tchya think? That 1970’s shtick has played out its course. They don’t have anything real to show us. Apparently there are some people who favor science. Almost to the point they believe science was before God. Science was not created by God. Man created science. Man created science so that he can understand what God created… Everything on earth that is known to man, all of it comes from the earth. Finding it on the earth.

Days of the week were created from formidable astronomers and developed a calendar to plot and predict the movement of the moon and planets in the heavens, incorporating a form of astrology. Seven is important in Judaism, where the creation story is told over seven days. But unlike other cultures, in Hebrew the days of the week are assigned numbers not the names of gods, festivals, elements or planets — the only exception is Saturday, Yom Shabbat (יום שבת) which means Sabbath. But while the movement of the Sun give us natural concepts like days and years and the Moon’s phases give us the month, there is no such natural reason for a seven-day week.

The number seven had a mystical significance to Babylonians. It was associated with the seven heavenly bodies; the Sun, Moon, Mars, Mercury, Jupiter, Venus and Saturn. For this reason, some believe, marking rituals every seventh-day became important. A seven-day week based on these same celestial bodies was adopted as far away as Japan and ancient China. But the popularity of the seven-day week — and its prominence in modern calendars — can be traced to its adoption by the Romans.

Science creates nothing. It never has created anything. What it HAS done is given a definition to elements that are known or unknown and enabled tests to occur for “data” purposes that is suppose to be repeatable. And if it’s not able to reoccur or be repeated over and over and over… then it fails and its not science.

Anyone who has created post-it-notes aren’t considered scientists and anyone who can do a heart transplant isn’t called a scientist either. Those people have actual titles. Scientists are obscure wearing formal wear with a white coat. But “who” is a scientist? The Science teacher who dissects frogs?

Science serves a purpose, but it is NOT a purpose. I do not need to have faith in anything that is science. In movies it always works or it doesn’t. I have no reason to have faith in science. That’d be like believing in a rabbits foot or monkey paw, a relic of old folk lore.

  • I believe God created everything… and for some reason there are Christians who think that everything that exists on the earth exists outside of the earth too. That all the chemicals and elements of earth exist in outer space. (I don’t believe in “outerspace”.) I believe the heavens are the stars and lights then there’s this space where the sun and moon move. Then there is the earth. So, when I read the Bible and it tells me God made the Sun and moon for the earth I don’t go all crazy silly nilly about science discovering other suns, and telling me stars are suns and there’s other earths out there. God opened my eyes to the science liars. There’s soooooo much deception from everywhere… You have to look at the opposition. Whatever you don’t want to hear. Whatever sounds “crazy”… you must listen to it. There is a reason. I know I sound crazy for not conforming to the science we have been taught. But deceit has been rooted for over a thousand years the devil has had time to use men like pauns in a game of chess.
