The Bible tells us, “the world” is your enemy. How many verses you ask say this? One? Two?

“If the world hates you, you know that it has hated Me before it hated you. “If you were of the world, the world would love its own; but because you are not of the world, but I chose you out of the world, because of this the world hates you.

O God, arrogant men have risen up against me, And a band of violent men have sought my life, And they have not set You before them.

“I have given them Your word; and the world has hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.

“You will be hated by all because of My name, but the one who endures to the end, he will be saved.

“Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. “For I came to SET A MAN AGAINST HIS FATHER, AND A DAUGHTER AGAINST HER MOTHER, AND A DAUGHTER-IN-LAW AGAINST HER MOTHER-IN-LAW; and A MAN’S ENEMIES WILL BE THE MEMBERS OF HIS HOUSEHOLD.

……And there are more verses.

If Paris Hilton or a Jehova’s Witness came to me I wouldn’t throw stones at them but I would not seek to befriend them either. One of two things happens when you allow like that into your life. One thing is and the other thing is you

The ‘world’ is not a Christians friend. You don’t want to be the worlds friend, either. Oprah doesn’t walk in the path of Jesus’ salvation… neither does Joyce Meirs, or Joel Osteen. Being a “good person”, doesn’t save you from hell… Oprahs ‘Soul Sundays’ aren’t going to save you from hell… Jesus IS the only way to salvation.

Just my 2 cents worth — -
