In the final days of the year 2018, we continued hustling to get the word out and promote the adoption of blockchain technology in football. Jason Sze, our CEO and Co-Founder, visited English Premier League Club West Ham United and talked about the project and introduced the 433Token ecosystem.
West Ham United
West Ham United is a professional football club based in Stratford, east London, England. They compete in the Premier League, the top tier of English Football. West Ham United rightly have a proud tradition in English football for playing entertaining, attacking football. It is an approach that has thrilled millions since the east London club was formed in 1900, five years after the inception of their forerunners, Thames Ironworks. It is enshrined in Hammers’ history that regardless of their status at any given time, whether challenging for silverware or fighting relegation, the club has never sacrificed its long-held football principles. Their knowledgeable fans have come to expect nothing less and they are proud of it.
The club re-located to the London Stadium in 2016. The Hammers are able to enjoy any football game with 66,000 football fans. The London Stadium is the largest football stadium in London!
During his visit, Jason had the privilege to witness the London derby between West Ham United and Watford. Jason was excited to cheer with 66,000 West Ham United fans, he was literally amazed of the atmosphere.
It’s an incredible atmosphere and amazing to see 66,000 Hammers cheering together and supporting the great footballers of West Ham United!
