Journal #5

Jeanette in The Glass Castle handled the man who insulted his dad by telling the man to stop the truck. She did not appreciate how the man had called her father a drunk and took offense to it. She tried to pull her dad out of the car but was hopeless as his drunken body was too heavy to lift him so instead she just let the driver take them to their destination. She shows that she has her plans for the future were solid and that she has had it planned. Unlike her, I don’t have big plans for the future, I do not know exactly what I would like to be. After high school I just plan on going to the military and join the marines. So far i’m trying to complete my four years in JROTC. I don’t have a plan to deal with difficulties along the way, I’ll just try to solve them as they come. The people who I believe will support me along the way is my family, mostly my mom and sister. I might attend college and learn more about the anatomy of the human body.
