Infographic — Introduction to AWS SPOT Instances

Batchly.net, a cloud scale job scheduler and management solution publised an infographic — “Introduction to SPOT Instances” which has interesting insights on AWS SPOT instances — a little known feature in Amazon Web Services cloud offering which is very cheap compared to regular Amazon instance. However, it requires deep understanding of the underlying SPOT markets and redesigning your existing system architecture to work with it.

With Batchly, 47Line has built a wrapper which encapsulates the complexities of SPOT and provides an intutive interface to run complex workloads.
