Do Startups Have a Drinking Problem?
Sarah Jane Coffey

Start-ups have not only a drinking problem, but a conformity problem. In an industry which prides itself on independent and out-of-the box thinking, one would never expect such cognitive dissonance. However, anyone who works at the big tech firms desperately want to fit in and will do any and everything to be liked. The flipside to earning massive amounts of money is surrendering your personsal autonomy and integrity to a conformist culture that demands complete obedience. Mental collapse is indeed the price one pays for this Faustian choice.
