I’m not worried about Bitcoin scalability, but I am losing sleep over Ethereum
Tuur Demeester

I believe Ethereum is a press-inflated bubble that will collapse once people realize it can’t do anything remarkable in a real world use scenario that existing technology can’t already do with more flexibility and control (like clustered servers). A $25 billion market cap is saying that there’s now $25 billion set aside to run these “smart contracts”, just how will anyone squeeze $25 billion worth of work from this decentralized VC that can only run smart contracts? It’s a bubble, dump ETH.

Here’s a solid argument that Ethereum is pointless: https://thecryptocoinblog.com/2017/07/03/ethereum-is-garbage/
