As an architect, I find that I think best with a pen in my hand. I puzzle out details by sketching them. The new generation of architectural students are loosing this talent, and suffer for it. Jared Banks, author of the architectural blog “Shoegnome” argues there is no need to sketch, and in fact, refuses to do so. Is he wrong? YES! But that’s just my opinion :-)
