Earlier this year, Forbes and TrueBridge Capital Partners surveyed over 90 VC firms and asked them to nominate their most promising startups, the ones most likely to reach sky-high valuations. They asked for revenue figures, valuation history, launch dates and customer counts.

As Karsten Strauss writes in the article, “We whittled the results down to 35 promising companies and subjected them to our own grading formula, keeping in mind the track records and skills of the founding teams, and chose 25 startups we think have billion-dollar valuations in their futures (indeed, three of these firms hit that milestone in the past month as we toiled to cover them)”

The result was a robust list of 25 companies that according to Forbes will soon breakout into billion dollar organizations.

At 500 Miles, we help college students and professionals discover breakout companies that will launch their careers. Forbes’ Next Billion Dollar Startups is yet another lens to discover such breakout companies.

The 500 Miles app provides detailed insights for each of these organizations including the number of new hires and investment rounds in the past year, headcount growth, talent quality, H-1B hiring and salaries offered, and number of employee hires and departures — all of this from the convenience of a mobile phone.

Check out the Forbes’ Stack (and many other stacks) on the 500 Miles app and do share the word with your colleagues and friends.
