If you are a student or a recent graduate who has arrived in the US from a foreign land, you are likely adjusting to the new environment. It takes time and persistent effort to learn about new customs, traditions and culture. As someone who has experienced this transition, I can relate.

So when it comes time to look for an employer in the States that will launch your career, should you hold back and work on campus as this U.S. News article suggests? What if your professional pursuits are more on the industry side of things? Among the many hurdles international students face, a significant one is to find employers that sponsor H-1B visas for eligible candidates. It is often a huge disadvantage as this StackExchange user suggests:

“I am an international student that studies Computer Science and Applied Math in a United States College. I have no U.S. citizenship and that is a huge disadvantage compared to my colleagues.”

Not any more. With great enthusiasm, I present a solution to this unfortunate and persistent issue:

New Stack: Top H-1B Sponsors
