Brunch Picks of the Month: Best Brunch Burgers
Burgers have been a restaurant staple for eternity; however, only recently have we been seeing this palatable treat pop up for brunch as well. Add in some eggs, bacon, and hashbrowns and the burger has been taken to another level.
We have rounded up some of our favorite brunch burgers in the city. Enjoy on your own or hopefully with 500 Brunches soon!
Best Brunch Burgers:
Brick Yard (Marina) 1787 Union Street, San Francisco, CA 94123 http://www.brickyardsf.com/
The Brick Yard is a crowd favorite: Friendly staff, fun atmosphere, the perfect place to catch just about any game…And now they’ve gone and made their brunch even better than before. They’ve extended hours, (9am to 2pm), they’ve brought back bottomless mimosas, and they offer a bloody mary that comes with a thick slab of Billionaire’s bacon. But we’re here to rave about their breakfast burger: a delicious combination of pork, cheddar & jalapeño patty, hash browns, fried egg, and avocado. Sounds like the perfect place to set up shop for March Madness!
Saturday, Sunday with new hours: 9am-2pm (bottomless from 9am to 1pm)
Causwells (Marina)
2346 Chestnut Street, San Francisco, CA 94123
http://causwells.com/
The Marina bistro is fairly new, but already taking the burger scene by storm. They’ve got former Flour + Water sous chef, Adam Rosenblum, on board and he seems to be creating quite a stir. Their burgers are so revered, in fact, that they are starting a monthly pop-up in the Mission to feed the masses. Their brunch burger is simply the regular burger with egg and bacon added. In other words, an even better version of something amazing. Dreams really do come true.
Saturday, Sunday; Reservations recommended
Bluestem Brasserie (SOMA) 1 Yerba Buena Lane, San Francisco, CA 94103 http://www.bluestembrasserie.com/
Bluestem is another one of our favorite brunch spots. You can’t go wrong with any of their delectable food or drink options. But their mouthwatering brunch burger takes the (beef) cake! This piece of art consists of 3 patties (beef, hash brown, sausage), bacon, homemade american cheese, pickles, avocado, and a fried egg. They aren’t messing around with this one. We suggest you start fasting now in preparation.
Saturday, Sunday 11am-3pm
Enjoy!
Cheers,
