A Harden-Gordon backcourt can only mean one thing: D’Antoni is going Full Nellie, trying to win by outscoring the opponent while paying no attention whatsoever to defense. The main question is what will he do with Capela, who has no offensive game? Even in a pick and roll offense Capela has limited value, because the defense can simply hack him on the catch and watch him brick free throws. If they are going to ignore defense anyway, I’d like to see them play Anderson at the “5” and play small with Brewer or McDaniel.
