(Asking for a friend): Why is Coley being so coy and evasive about the injury status of Embid, Simmons and the other players? What’s hard about saying “we thought it was a bone bruise, now the doctors say it’s a meniscus tear and since we’re being careful with him we’re not sure when he will be back but it will be awhile, and how about those dance moves”? My friend doesn’t understand what perceived advantage the organization obtains by being opaque about injuries; it’s not likely to affect opponents’ game plans because nobody game plans for the Sixers.
