2017 Eclipse

Had to check out the eclipse today even though I was at work while it was happening.

Immediately regretted not planning ahead and getting a pair of those glasses to watch the event. Rather than blind myself, I used my iPad to take some photos. While I’m glad I have something to remember the event with, nothing compared to the way the eclipse looked when viewing it thru the specially designed glasses.

Just heard there’ll be another full solar eclipse in 7 years. This time the path of totality will traverse the opposite direction. In April 2024 the path will begin in Texas and end in the Northeast.

I plan on being better prepared for next time.
