MCAT, 21st Century
The Medical College Admissions Test (MCAT) was restructured last year for the first time in decades. The new functional modules include psychology, sociology and population topics as well as the traditional biochem, o-chem, physics, and maths.
The Khan Academy, a non-profit founded by an MIT EE grad+Harvard MBA, Sal Khan, has freely provided these great supplements for MCAT success. The Khan Academy is free to anyone with an internet connection or can be downloaded, Khan Academy lite, for offline studies. The Khan Academy is a great life learning resource because it’s also a crowdsourcing friendly website, even Bill Gates (Big Softy founder) uses it. When questions inevitably rise then the community will happily provide answers.
Each MCAT module is presented by a subject matter expert. Each lesson is 4-10 minutes long with a few exceptions like the photosynthesis lesson.
My fav modules are FC7-10.
The Khan Academy is free for everyone; please join and start/continue your quest towards MCAT domination today!
