Building Blocks

Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment - Buddha

Being attuned to what is in front of you is always overlooked. I feel that I am someone who comes from the mindset that my world cannot be better tomorrow unless I work on today. I can aspire for a bright future. I can dream up an amazing plan for myself. I can see the goals that I would like to achieve. I cannot get blinded by the lofty aspirations. I can only work on what is in front of me day by day. I cannot hope to get better if I do not take steps in the present.

After long days, it can be tough to see the silver lining. It is hard to see the end goal you are working for. Life feels tough when you are knocked on the ground. The thing though that always rings true is the need to work on what is in your control in the present moment. If you do this consistently, the rest of the story will fill itself in.

Hard work and dedication to whatever you want: It seems simple, but it is the key. One can do as much as they want in this world if they put their 100% effort and care and love into it. When we have ideas the universe can bend to our realities, we just have to want it and then work for it. I know that a lot of the best moments in my life thus far have been the result of me building towards the good.
