Thinking

No one likes thinking. Everyone in the world loves to distract themselves. We want to run away from our thoughts because we feel that gives us refuge and safety. Is this really the case? What objections can and should be made to this idea?

I believe that thinking is the key to any endeavor we go through. If you do not give yourself time to think, the outside world will penetrate your mind, body, and soul. It can be frustrating to run away from your rampant thoughts of fear, self-denial, and the inner critic in your brain 24/7. I believe a majority of us do this though.

So what is a solution? Can we just fix this as easily as possible through our own efforts. The answer is yes and here is my reasoning:

You are the agent of change. You are the person in charge of the inner world. If you think otherwise you are coming from a place of scarcity. Scarcity is a recipe for self-doubt, criticism, and many other travesties.

Everyone goes through bouts of anger, sadness, self-doubt, loneliness, and etc. The difference is some people have them less than others and are able to snap out of easily. The way this is done is through thinking and controlling your brain. The best thought process is an abundance thought process. Thinking like this will lead you to see opportunities everywhere as well as see the irrationality of your inner self critic.

So instead of running from thoughts, we need to embrace them and shrug them off. We need to be there to captain our own brains. We need to be the steady ship and believe in our ability to get back on course because no one else will do it for us.

One clap, two clap, three clap, forty?

By clapping more or less, you can signal to us which stories really stand out.
