Jump, pt. 2
I’m at the edge.
I move in less than a month and I’m trying to do things right. The move itself won’t be a difficult one; I don’t have a large amount of stuff that i have to bring to the new place. I’ve been purging like mad and at the moment, I have a pile of stuff for the recycle bin and a bag of garbage. Everything else needs to be packed up (books) and organized. I’m leaving a couple of things behind, namely the bed that I have been sleeping on since I was a kid — which, surprisingly, I haven’t outgrown, but has become increasingly uncomfortable.
the transition so far hasn’t been too bad. the big task of finding new furniture and starting over hasn’t hit me yet. when the times comes to get the moving van, i already have a few people willing to help me. it’s a great feeling, knowing that i don’t have to do this alone.
the jump hopefully won’t end in disaster. i have more confidence about it now.
