A Charter for Design Teams

Great effort I think, to come up with a widely applicable charter, but definitely agree that the process of articulating and communicating of a specific design group in a specific organization is invaluable.

I like the triad: empathy, craft and coherence.

I use in my hiring and communication the similar triad: approach (definitely includes empathy, curiosity, intellectual honesty), discipline (grounding processes of insight-finding, research, testing, heuristics, analysis, etc) and craft (working with mental models, metaphors, UI patterns, layers of meaning and connection)
