Great article. Companies need to be educated to stay away from Amazon. The selling “direct” misconception creates losses for companies because they are selling at lower than normal margins because they think the volume is better, only to realize that once they get hit with Amazon fees and free 2 day freight for Amazon prime accounts, they are actually in a hole. Thinking you are going to build brand awareness by giving away your products for nothing will essentially run you out of business. Apple is just doing what they do best and that is control your user experience with their products rather than let you define it. The ad blocking is hurting the small business’s and indivuals that get ad revenue on Youtube.
