The Independent Party of Oregon’s Secretary of State race was a serious stress test for STAR Voting. Joe Biden and Donald Trump, the two highest scoring candidates, advanced to the automatic runoff. Biden was preferred by 55.1% of voters; 39.4% preferred Trump. 5.5% had no preference between Biden and Trump.
