Why do people Sexually Harass?

Sexual harassment is a way for our men to assault our women and children verbally and even physically. This causes distrust within our men and creates oppression upon our women and children. This has been occurring over the past years and is gradually increasing as we proceed with our lives. In this case, sexual harassment occurs most often in work places. This woman had the experience of sexual harassment which changed her work experience for a life time.

I’m a journalist and news editor now, but before that I was a barista, a server, a freelance writer, an intern, a gift shop cashier and an ice cream scooper. As a woman in my mid-20s, harassment has become a fact of life, but here are a few times when my ability to do my job was diminished by it. Therefore, having to experience these situations, caused her to be more courageous but also be more cautious for what she is dealing with especially at her job.

Sexual harassment is an issue worldwide and occurs every minute, every second, every hour. For example, in India, women would get sexually harassed on the daily basis without any help. They will often get followed, grabbed or even path blocked for these incidents to occur. Also as you can see throughout Europe, sexual harassment occurs mostly at these locations with these ages.

However, in our society today our law enforcement will get carried away with how much power they have and tend to be disrespectful and harass our women and children even though they know the law. This also creates distrust within our most trusted citizens that are meant to prevent these from happening. You can reduce your risk of getting sexual harassed and even keep it from occurring again.
