Rocking like a star in Greece.Or was it Croatia? :D

To be young again. :D

Can you believe that just few years ago(or at least,it feels like it) we were walking around with DiscMan pushed in our pocket(if it fit, of course:D) listening to J.E.M, Norah Jones or who ever was your favorite? You were the coolest with a phone that had a display with colors!! You were watching TV and waiting for the next episode, which of course was doubed to your language(if you are not from US or UK) There was no Facebook, Twitter, Instagram,Snapchat. You had ICQ(did I even spell it right?) When you wanted to be in touch with your friends, you texted- and yes you were texting on a phone with actual buttons, how cool was that? But you didn't spend so much time in front of tv and typing with your friends. You actually went out and hang out — went for a walk, chilled at a coffee house, went to a dog shelter to walk some cute dogs — just be out with actual people and move your body, use your mind to think and talk.Actually talk.

Still remember this. :D

Nowdays, we have all kinds of applications to help us save our time, but when people ask if you want to go out, we tend to say we are busy. I know I do it. A lot.And what I am doing? Not reading as much as I could, not working on an awesome project, that I should. I am watching Netflix to which I don't even pay much of attention, scroll up and down on Facebook and refreshing my work email in case something more comes up(and no I am not workaholic ;))

I think I always have been an old sould. I mean if I could pick my perfect life — I would live in the 90ties in New York as a 20-something old. I would have all kinds of experiences, I would hang at cool places where people would use their phones only when somebody called. Nobody would be taking pictures of their cappuccino in 20different ways. I would not see the blue light reflection of smartphones and iPads on people' faces, whether they are alone or with group of friends. I would not be able to Google every little thing( what is that mole on my back.Wait, am I dying now?) We would spend more time in libraries(remember those old, smelly and quite places with all kinds of books ;)) Or actually buy a paper book or a magazine. I mean call me old-school, but I still prefer book over kindle or any other devices(thou they could be very useful for person who travels as much as I do. I mean, half of my luggage used to be books. The other one was filled with shoes,of course.:D) I am not saying that having all kinds of technology is not awesome. You can find information in matter of seconds. You can call your friends and family for free as long as you have access to a good internet connection. Btw.do you remember the dial internet, when you could not be on the phone and internet at the same time? And it made this squeky sound while dialing or whatever. You waited like 20 minutes just to get on one page and you had a daily limit, so it won't cost a lot. And later on, when you got a phone that could connect to internet - and by internet I mean Google, and you accidentally hit the wrong arrow on your menu button and realized you went online. You pressed cancel button like 100times,just to make sure you won't spend money on internet and your parents won't kill you? :D

Oh.and let's not forget the old school home line phones with the little wheel with numbers? On which you had to turn the little wheel like twenty times to dial.God forbids you messed up the numbers and had to start all over again.:D (Man, I sound like I am 100 years old now:D)

Anyway, there is no deep meaning in this whole blog, just thought it would be nice to think about what a good time it was. And call me crazy, but I think that the children of the smartphone and so-called social media, can be pretty much jealous of all the cool stuff we had as children. I mean walkman or tamagochi(or whatever was the spelling of that “hi-tech” animal, you had to feed and bath to keep alive.:D).Come on, could you be even more cool? Only if you got your hands on a game boy.:D

Cheers to the 90ties children :P :)
