Can your credit history be affected if your debit card number is stolen?
Okay, bad news: I recently discovered that my debit card (not my credit card) number was stolen and used to make a few fraudulent purchases. The good news: I caught the problem just two days after the first purchase was made by routinely checking my bank statement online (I do so after every purchase I make with my debit card to make sure it went through, and also on pay day), and I reported it to my bank the day I found out. So far, my bank’s been working with me very well. They’ve cancelled the debit card and are sending me a new one, and they’re mailing me the paperwork I need to fill out to dispute the fraudulent charges. My question is can any of this mess affect my credit history? I know a debit card is different from a credit card, so that’s why I wasn’t sure. Right now, I’m planning on filing a police report and notifying the credit bureaus. I also want to order a credit report since I heard everyone gets one free one per year (or something like that; is this true by the way?) Is there anything else that I can do? Has anyone had this happened to them before, and if so what was your experience? I’m a little antsy about my credit history right now because I’m in the middle of trying to buy a condo, and I’m a first-time home buyer. Thanks in advance for everybody’s help.””

Making additional payments in Chapter 13 bankruptcy plan.?
Currently, I am 7 months into a 5 year bankruptcy plan. My paycheck is being garnished @ 900 bucks a month. Bankruptcy was my last option after I tried going out trying to find additional employment, which I couldn’ t find and also trying a debt consolidation plan that didn’t work at all. So here I am 7 months in my plan, which is being paid @ 100 percent to all creditors. My question is recently I noticed there are part time positions open in my area. I was considering applying. I know that we have to report all income to the trustee. Would the trustee allow me to take on the part time employment so the I can make the additional payments into my plan. I wanted to surrender the part time pay to the bankrupty in addition to my normal payments. Are we allowed to do this? Does anyone advise this? I think it is a great way to pay your plan off early. Please refrain from any rude comments. I notice some people on yahoo have stupid and ridiculous things to say. I encourage positive comments especially from bankruptcy attorneys or people. Should I loan money to my mother in law and father in law to get their van fixed?
This situation is very complex. I and my wife live in the basement of her parents home. We pay rent. But this week, we have come up short. This is the first time this has ever happened. Business was a little bit slow last week due to the holidays. I have been married for a year now. We have loaned my father in law money before. They paid us back eventually. But we owe several people money. We owe my mother in law money, because my wife borrowed it before we got married. I do not want to lend nor borrow any more money again. They often have bought gas for the car, but they hadn’t really paid for any wear and tear until this Christmas. My in laws have just one vehicle. The van is in the shop. It needs major work. It needs a new water pump, rear main seal, etc. It is going to run around 700–800 dollars, at least. I have a little bit of money saved up for a car for myself. Our Honda is actually the wife’s car. I do not have my own car. But I both want and need one. I am saving my money specifically for a Camaro. But the amount I now have saved is just barely enough to make a meager down payment on a new car. We could lend my in laws the money, but I would be very depressed if I had to do that. The little bit I have saved gives me hope, and gives me something to look forward to and hold on to. Is it selfish to want to keep it? What happens when you stop paying credit card bills?
I was unemployed for 6 months 2 years ago. During that time i begged, borrowed and stole in order to keep my bills current. I also used credit cards to supplement my unemployment so i could keep paying my bills and keeping everything current. This created a debt to income ratio that is skewed. Even when I got a new job, my monthly debt payments were more than my income so every month I would bleed money. Now, my savings are gone. I have borrowed money to keep my payments current, but this is an unending battle. I want to know what will happen if i stop paying my credit card bils. I cannot get any sort of consolidatin loan cause im too much of a credit risk at this point. My husband and I are considering filing for Chapter 7 Bankruptcy. We have debt we cannot pay back, 7 dependents, and numerous medical bills from when my son was born 2 months ago. I see chapter 7 bankruptcy is for liquidating assets. Other than our house, van, and furniture we have no other assets. Will we qualify for Chapter 7? Also, will we be able to keep our house if we can keep making payments on it?””

Suggestions 500 dollars left?
We have laywer fee’s that include the house and land we are to pay off them and we can’t afford but the house was left in husbands name. $500.00 dosen’t give us a lot of chance.The bankruptcy laywer is willing to take payments and 300 dollars was to start it so I do think that is best way but still unsure possibly talk to Laywer about it. If we could get the house turn over in our name we would have the money because we could get a loan on the house . But as it stands we are in deep water now drowing.

Ok so I am bored and I want to see how quickly someone can solve these riddles. Easy 10 point for first person to answer riddle #1: A farmer is about to die and he has to give his land to his 3 sons. His sons are very argumentative and jealous of each other so he has to make a plan to split the land in a way that the brothers can not argue about its fairness. riddle #2: A man has a gambling problem so he frequently borrows money from the local loan shark. One week the man is behind on his debts and the loan shark comes over and gives him a preposition. The man has a beautiful daughter that the loan shark has been eying so the loan shark says that he will cancel the debt if he gets to marry the daughter. The daughter does not want to marry the shark so the loan shark tries to look like he is being fair by saying that he will pick two stones outside. one white and one black and put them in a bucket. The daughter needs to pick one up, if she picks the white she goes free and her fathers debts are still canceled but if she picks the black she will have to marry the shark. So they agree and go outside but as he is picking up the stones she notices that he picked up 2 black stones but no one else notices. She cant call him on it or her father would have to pay the debt. So how does she not end up picking a black stone? Riddle #3 a man is in his 2 seater car pulls up to a bus stop and it is raining very harshly. the bus will not come for at least an hour. In the bus stop he sees his best friend that saved his life, the love of his life and if he does not be with her now he will never see her again and an old lady that will die if she is not taken to hospital and she will be dead if she has to wait for the bus. hello. i’m 19 and have no credit. not bad credit. none. i would like to purchase a vehicle without a co-signer. i found a 2007 jeep commander for 16,000. if i put down 5,000 on the vehicle and have a high income job about ( 2,000) monthly.. well i think that’s high income for a 19 year old… what are the chances of the dealership financing the car for me. i dont want to go through a bank. i kno that may be my better option but for me it’s not so lets pretend that option doesnt exist. they finance vehicles for ppl with BAD credit these days. there has to be a solution.””
