Google Chrome, or simply Chrome, is a free internet browser released officially by Google on December 11, 2008, which works quite well Google sites and services as YouTube and Gmail (Hope, 2021). Its first beta is available for Windows Vista dan XP users in September 2008, then for Mac and Linux edition soon to follow, which has some pros and cons at that time (Raphael, 2008). Google Chrome is cross-platform browser, where some versions work on different computers, mobile devices, and operating system, which makes it the most popular web browser of choice worldwide, with more than 62% of the web browser market share, as of March 2022 (Moreau, 2022). For Windows 10 and 11, usually an installer ChromeSetup.exe with size about several MB must be downloaded first and then executed (Cornell & Duino, 2021), where the installation process, known as online installer, requires internet connection since the whole installation is about several tens MB. Other way, which is known as offline installer, is to download first the whole software packages at once and then execute the installer that can be performed without internet connection. There are some advantages and disadvantages between these two ways (Debjit, 2010). Steps to install Chrome using offline installer are given here.
