Karamoko Dembele has just made history. Dembele is the a soccer player that plays for Celtic, a soccer club in England. He just was the youngest player to start for Celtic. Karamoko was also the youngest player ever to score in England. At just being 16 years old and playing for a professional team is good enough, but scoring is a way bigger accomplishment. But all of this did not come easy to Dembele.

Dembele was born in 2003 in South London. He started playing soccer at a very young and he was very good at it. He started playing for Park Villa BC at just 5 years old. Dembele was targeted in his early years for being a one of the best in his age group, he was even called a prodigy. At just 11 years old he got signed to play for Celtic’s youth team. Celtic isn’t easy to get into, and he was put into their youth training program. He started to make the widespread news when he played in the Celtic Under-20 games at just 13 years old.

On December 24, 2018 Karamoko officially was signed into Celtic to stay there until 2021. He made his senior debut on May 19, 2019. In that game they won 2–1, victory playing against the Hearts. His next game, was the championship in the Scottish Premiership. Although Dembele never actually played in the final game, he helped lift the trophy at the end.
