There is however another story being written, one that exists between the real and the digital, between emotions and blockchains. 72 Ars is the portal that leads us to the magic of the future. Understood here as CryptoMagic, 72 Ars will explore ideas around a new form of magic that might emerge from the emotional and spiritual ongoing interaction with technology.
Technology today has created endless forms of new digital archetypes whose energy and knowledge are at the service of humankind, teaching us how to be our own gods.
The exchange between 72 Ars and its users will happen in the form of CryptoGrimoires (or Grimoires), each one exploring a subject. The 1st one will explore some of these new archetypes: Servitors and their sigils.
CryptoMagic Cards
72 Ars makes it possible to get the elements of the magic of the future as digital Servitors and their Sigils in the form of crypto collectibles: 72 Ars is an exclusive and limited NFT (non-fungible token) collection of CryptoMagic Cards, each one related to a specific CryptoGrimoire and each one presenting one servitor and one sigil, issued on Ethereum-like blockchain networks.
When you get a servitor card you will receive a digital asset with a servitor and a sigil. First, you have the servitor: a unique image created based on traditional descriptions of demons and angels of the magical world. Then you have the sigil: the powerful symbol used to invoke the sevitor's power. Each servitor will have one specific power represented by a symbol at the center of the card (one servitor’s power can be to change matter, for instance, while another servitor can be used to make you rich!). The intensity of this power, however, depends on the card you have. This will be measure in terms of colours:
- Dark Brown background: 10% power
- Dark Green background: 25% power
- Dark Red background: 50% power
- Dark Purple background: 65% power
- Dark blue background: 85% power
- Intense Black background : 100% power
Each servitor will also be associated with three elements. These elements are the ethereal tools that the servitor uses to make magic come true, to use it's power for different purposes. For instance, elements could be the sun, bones, and fire (there will be many elements as part of our adventure. These are just examples). A servitor whose power is to make you rich can use the force of the sun to make your career shine through. Or use the bones to defeat the people that are blocking your financial growth.
Everytime an element interacts with the servitor’s power it generates a particular property:
- Bronze framing: the power can be used just once
- Silver Framing: the power can be used 72 times
- Golden Framing: the power can be used forever.
All sets of cards will be divided in two groups: loaded and unloaded. Loaded cards are those servitors and sigils that are ready to go, ready to use. Unloaded cards will give you knowledge but they require your effort to activate the magic in them. In short: an unloaded dark brown card with bronze framing will give you very limited power, while a loaded intense black card with golden framing will turn you into a powerful magician. Now you can see that there are cards that are more special than others!
Special Cards
When you get a special card you will receive a digital asset that relates directly to a special topic of the CryptoGrimoire. Can be a mysterious symbol that in a near future can help to understand an important event that happened in the real world, a representation of each one of the worlds (see 72 Ars roadmap below) or any other item. The Special Cards can be one of the types:
- Golden Special Card;
- Silver Special Card;
- Bronze Special Card;

December 23, 2021, Chapter 1 — Novus Spiritus, Nova Magica: This is the beginning of our story. Goetia, a discord user, disappears mysteriously. Before disappearing she/he releases a strange symbol to the community. This symbol is the gateway to three magical worlds that only exists on the web. Each world is composed by a group of images with strange figures — The Servitors: magical entities with specific sigils of power.
March, 2022, Chapter 2 — Materia: The first world, Materia, gives Goetia and whoever uses its images, the power to change the physical world.
June, 2022, Chapter 3 — Animae: The second world, Animae, gives Goetia and whoever uses its images, the power to change the spiritual world.
September, 2022, Chapter 4 — Virtualis: The third world, Virtualis, gives Goetia and whoever uses its images, the power to change the virtual world.
December, 2022, Chapter 5 — Lux Aeterna: This is the end of our story. The mystery around Goetia's disappearance is revealed. Is she/he gone forever? Is she/he the same after finding the symbol? And what about us, are we the same?
