Potato: Week 8

updated by Alex Kim 11/23/2015

What did we do this week?

To put it plainly, this was implementation week.

This meant that we divided up the web pages so that we could individually code the web pages from scratch. We did run into a few problems since our team is mostly composed of design-heavy team members (aka we’re not too code savvy) but Google and some of the more knowledgeable teammates helped us out big time.

Logo Design

It hit us one day that even though we have a logo for team (potatoes) we still hadn’t made a logo for our web app (idea8). So during one of our meeting a few us sat down and talked about the logo design to see what kind of image we wanted to have and ultimately try to flesh out something that we could use quickly. We ended up just having a few more sketches this week and one High fidelity logo but we have still yet to finalize the logo.

recap

To sum it up this week was pretty chill for most of us at potato. Because we each had our own portfolios to work on and pages of the site to implement, most of the collaboration that went on this week was helping one another on the final stretch.
