Research indicates that generation z right after millennials may share the most conservative or liberal values in centuries. This is bad in a sense that there will be even more polarization now with one extremist arguing against the other side with antagonizing views. In the huffington post it states that A 2016 American study found that while only 18% of Millennials attended church, church attendance was 41% among Generation Z, generation z is also more against tattoos or bodily marks compared to millennials, and are more pragmatic with their sense of money, which huff stated its rational since the economic crash of 2008. An analysis on gen z friend groups also shows that they have the most ethnically diverse group of peers, causing more understanding in movements like “Black lives matter” and creating more religious tolerance against religious minorities, and ethnic minorities. Gen z also more for gun control, because of massacres in our lifetime, Gen z was in way more support for global warming, and I feel like everyone should have a birdeye’s feel on humanity as the years to come will be the most interesting time as we see this strange phenomenon on how generation z believe in both liberal and conservatives beliefs, we see us striding away from tribalist views and potentially believe what they want to believe in, having this skeptic mentality of believing something no matter the left or right. Meaning that if they believe in pro choice they might support something like pro capatalism a stride away from these polictical groups may conclude that generation z might be the freest thinker, free from parents or authority in decades.
